Hechee’s friend Nancy Davies, head of Race to Erase MS, described her as “loving, kind, funny, charming and beautiful” and said she would be “sorely missed”.
Hechie has previously attended Race to Erase MS galas to support the organization’s efforts to find a cure for multiple sclerosis.
“Ann was always the kindest, most thoughtful person who always brought out the best in me,” Davis wrote on Instagram. “She was very supportive of anything she could do to help @racetoerasems and always said yes when she knew she could do something with her time, talent and creative genius to help find a cure for MS. My heart is broken.”

Dancing With the Stars judge Carrie Ann Inaba paid tribute to Hachi, who competed on the show’s 29th season, and thanked her for being herself.
“We will miss your beautiful, unique and free energy,” Inaba wrote. “I’ll always remember your performance at @officialdwts in that outfit when you danced your heart out.”
Minions screenwriter Brian Lynch paid tribute to Geachy, saying “she was so great at so many things”.
