StayWell Holdings to reach tourism markets in Middle East, Southeast Asia and Europe in mega expansion project

Dubai, UAE: StayWell Holdings announced today the launch of an aggressive expansion project as part of its global strategy of market consolidation in key growth regions.

The ambitious expansion plan, which will begin in the fourth quarter of 2022, comes amid a recovery in international tourism seen in the first five months of 2022, when nearly 250 million in international revenue.

The medium- to long-term expansion will include the creation of 250 hotels in key individual tourist destinations in critical regions. These include the UAE, which ranked second among the Middle East countries with the highest number of international tourists, with 8.08 million arrivals in 2020, and the Asia Pacific region.

StayWell’s expansion in the Middle East, which has also been earmarked for the lion’s share of new hotels and resorts, is critical to StayWell’s growth strategy, especially at a time when tourists are arriving in popular destinations in the region, including the United Arab Emirates, Egypt and Saudi Arabia is projected to grow significantly over the next few years. With such a strong and positive growth forecast, we plan to further expand our hotel portfolio in the region over the next 5 years and we would like to double this soon.
Other key regions that have been identified for further expansion of the hospitality chain include Europe, the United States and Southeast Asia, which are considered high potential markets. According to the spokesperson, these markets are strategic for the growth of the brand and also align with the overall plan to diversify the group’s hospitality offering.

The expansion project, which is expected to be completed by 2032, will mainly focus on a small-asset model, where most of the portfolio will be directly managed by the group. Most of the new facilities are located in popular vacation spots with great tourist potential.

The Park Regis Resort on Prince Deira Islands is set to become an iconic Dubai holiday destination, crowning the group’s expansion. Park Regis by Prince is expected to open its doors to guests in the first quarter of 2023. It has been designed to set the highest standard of guest service.
